Ask for a risk report

The most useful thing we make is free and does not require you to buy anything. Give us a street address and we send back six pages on what it is exposed to.

For example: 14 Sandgate Road, Albion QLD 4010.

This form is part of a demonstration site. Nothing you type is transmitted, stored or acted upon, and no report will arrive.

The office

Level 6, 288 Edward Street
Brisbane QLD 4000

Visitors are welcome during office hours, though almost everything is faster on the phone. There is no shopfront and no counter service.

Where we write cover

Every state and territory. These three have their own pages because their compulsory schemes and their hazards differ enough to matter.

If something has gone wrong

Complaints, and how to escalate past us

  1. Tell the person you were dealing with

Most complaints are a misunderstanding about a limit or an excess, and the person handling your file can usually fix it the same day. Start there.

  2. Ask for internal dispute resolution

Say the words "I want to make a complaint" on 1300 928 853, or write to complaints@wattleinsurance.com.au. The IDR team is separate from the people who made the original decision, and it has thirty calendar days to answer you in writing.

  3. Take it to AFCA

If you are unhappy with the IDR answer, or we take longer than thirty days, go to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. It is free to you, independent of us, and its determinations bind us. AFCA is on 1800 931 678, at info@afca.org.au, and at GPO Box 3, Melbourne VIC 3001.

Support if you need it. Under the General Insurance Code of Practice we must make reasonable adjustments for customers experiencing financial hardship, family violence, or difficulty communicating with us. Tell us and we will act on it. You can also nominate somebody to deal with us on your behalf at any point.
